The Committee for Selecting the Dean of the Faculty of Art Education at Minia University held its session to conduct personal interviews with the candidates for the position. The meeting took place at the University Council headquarters, chaired by Prof . Dr. Essam Farahat, President of the University, with the membership of Prof . Dr. Mohamed Galal Hassan and Prof . Dr. Abu Bakr Mohy El-Din, former Vice Presidents of the University, along with Prof . Dr. Hanna Habib Ramla, former Dean of the Faculty of Art Education at Minia University, and Dr. Mansour El-Mansy, former Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts Assiut University.

The final list of candidates for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Art Education included:

* Prof . Maher Hussein Mohamed A’raqeeb

* Prof . Mohamed Kamel Ali Ibrahim El-Hadidi

During the interviews, the candidates presented their academic and administrative programs, focusing on developing the faculty academically and in research, enhancing its scientific standing, and expanding cooperation with institutions and research centers. They also discussed mechanisms to raise the efficiency of the educational process, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of the university environment for students.

Prof . Dr. Essam Farahat emphasized the University’s commitment to selecting academic leaders based on competence and excellence, stressing that the selection process is conducted in an atmosphere of transparency and impartiality, with the aim of appointing leadership capable of supporting efforts to improve the quality of education and achieving the University’s vision of distinction.
