The Council of Minia National
University convened under the chairmanship of Prof.Dr.Essam El-Din Sadeq
Farhat, with the attendance of vice presidents, deans, and program directors.
The university president
congratulated members on the approaching month of Ramadan and the start of the
new academic year, emphasizing discipline from the first day and the active
role of academic advisors in supporting students.
The Council approved the
establishment of new laboratories for Internet of Things (IoT) and industrial
robotics, as well as a Physical Therapy program, and allocated a budget to
enrich the central library with key references. The university currently houses
over 72 specialized laboratories across medical, engineering, and humanities
sectors, all equipped according to the latest standards.
Additional specialized labs were
also approved, including a Motion Analysis Lab for Physical Therapy, a Public
Relations and Advertising Studio, two IoT and industrial robotics labs, and a
Dental Simulation Lab, in line with modern interdisciplinary trends and
technological advancements.
