Prof.Dr. Essam Farhat , President of Minia
University, cast his vote in the parliamentary elections at his assigned
polling station in Saad Zaghloul School, Shahin District, Minia Governorate ,
emphasizing that participating in constitutional elections represents a
national duty and is a fundamental pillar in supporting the democratic process
and building a modern Egyptian state.
He praised the citizens’ national awareness and
their turnout at the polls, noting that such participation reflects a spirit of
belonging and responsibility, contributing to shape the country’s future and
advancing the development process.
He called on all members of the university
community—including faculty members, staff, and students—to actively and
positively participate in the electoral process, in support of building the new
republic and reinforcing the values of citizenship and community engagement.
Dr. Farhat also affirmed that Minia University
continues its role in instilling a culture of national responsibility among its
students, as part of its mission to prepare conscious generations who recognize
the importance of engaging in the nation’s development and reform efforts.
