Prof. Dr. Essam El-Din Sadeq Farahat, President of Minia University and Coordinator of the Presidential Initiative “Alliance and Development” for Higher Education and Scientific Research in Northern Upper Egypt, paid an official visit to Lotus University to discuss cooperation and coordinate efforts among universities in the region.

The visit, at the invitation of Lotus University’s Board of Trustees, focused on strengthening regional university alliances, supporting research linked to industry and the national economy, and enhancing graduate readiness for the labor market.

Dr. Farahat emphasized building a shared vision among higher education institutions in Northern Upper Egypt through unified efforts and knowledge exchange, aiming to advance education, community service, and sustainable development. Both sides expressed their commitment to further cooperation in innovation, entrepreneurship, and joint academic programs to support integrated regional development.
