*As part of Minia University’s
participation in national initiatives and in support of the Presidential Human
Development Initiative “Bidaya,” the university launched an integrated outreach
convoy to Ban Al-Ilm village in Adwa district, providing extensive medical and
awareness services to improve quality of life in underserved communities.
The convoy offered medical
examinations to 650 residents through11 specialized clinics , provided free
medications, and referred critical cases to university hospitals.
It also included a campaign for
screening non-communicable diseases, door-to-door health awareness activities
by pharmacy students, and educational sessions by the Faculty of Nursing on
safe medication use, chronic disease prevention, and awareness of ADHD in
children.
The university affirmed that these
convoys reflect its ongoing commitment to community service and supporting
development in remote villages.
