The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the University of Minia has initiated an integrated environmental convoy headed to Village (5) in the Adwa Center. This initiative is under the patronage of Dr. Essam El-Din Sadek Farhat, the University President, and Dr. Ayman Mohamed Hassanein, the University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, as part of the university's participation in the "New Beginning" initiative launched by the President of the Republic for human development.
The convoy includes a select group of doctors from the University of Minia specializing in various fields such as Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation, Dermatology, Otorhinolaryngology, Cardiology, Urology.
The convoy conducted medical examinations on 510 villagers and distributed medications free of charge to those in need through the convoy's pharmacy. Additionally, in terms of community awareness, a series of health education lectures were organized by the Nursing faculty on the benefits of breastfeeding and first aid, attended by approximately two hundred women from the village.
