Minia University President Visits Churches to Extend Christmas Greetings

In the spirit of promoting citizenship values and fostering unity among all Egyptians, Prof. Dr. Essam Farhat, President of Minia University, visited several churches in Minia to congratulate the Coptic community on Christmas.

He was accompanied by a university delegation including Vice Presidents Dr. Ayman Hassanein, Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud, and Dr. Hossam Shawky, along with university leaders, students, and representatives of international students, highlighting the university’s role in promoting coexistence and mutual respect.

The visit included the Coptic Orthodox Diocese, the Coptic Catholic Diocese, and the Second Evangelical Church in Minia, where church leaders warmly welcomed the delegation, expressing appreciation for the gesture as a reflection of national unity and social cohesion.

Prof. Dr. Farhat emphasized the strong bonds between Muslims and Christians in Egypt and expressed his joy in sharing the Coptic community’s celebrations, wishing for Egypt’s security, stability, and continuous development under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
