Prof.Dr. Essam Farhat, President of Minia University, along with Major General Emad Kadwani, Governor of Minia, attended a celebration organized by the Directorate of Awqaf at Salah El-Din Mosque in North Minia, marking Isra and Mi’raj. The event included executive, security, and religious leaders from the governorate.

The ceremony featured Qur’an recitation, prayers, and supplications, followed by a speech from Dr. Omar Khalifa, highlighting the role of the Ministry of Awqaf in commemorating religious occasions and promoting moral and humanitarian values.

Dr. Farhat emphasized the importance of celebrating religious events to instill spiritual and ethical values in youth, fostering a sense of belonging and national pride. He urged students and community members to embrace the Prophet’s teachings, promoting tolerance, love, and social cohesion.
