Prof.Dr. Essam Farhat, President of Minia University, welcomed Colonel Mohamad Ahmed Abu Zeid, the new Director of Military Education, at the start of his tenure. The meeting highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting military education and its educational and national role on campus.

Dr. Farhat emphasized the importance of military education in shaping students’ discipline, commitment, and national loyalty, as well as developing their skills and preparing them to be responsible, aware citizens. He also stressed the collaboration between the university and national institutions, including the Armed Forces, to instill national values and a sense of belonging in students.

Colonel Abu Zeid expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed his commitment to work closely with the university to develop the military education system, aligning with Egypt’s vision of building capable, well-rounded individuals .
