The Minister of Higher Education emphasized that the initiative reflects the state’s vision of empowering persons with disabilities as a national priority, praising President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s continuous support and the Prime Minister’s follow-up. He highlighted the ministry’s commitment to full inclusion within the academic community to ensure equal opportunities and active participation.

Dr. Farhat noted that the ceremony crowned three months of awareness, cultural, artistic, and sports activities organized by the university and its Disability Services Center, affirming Minia University’s commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment that preserves students’ dignity and enables them to achieve their academic and personal ambitions.

Dr. Sherine Yehia pointed out the institutional development of the initiative through the establishment of a central “Tamkeen” unit at the ministry to unify policies, implement best practices, and build centralized databases.
